I tried this for the first time due to the price. I have 2 large dogs. One of them does not care for this food. I am unsure if the pieces are just too big, or maybe he does not like the flavor. The food itself seems good. The dogs keep the weight on well, and I have had no upset belly issues of any kind.
I don’t think any dog food is a heavenly gift to dogdom, but hills is a nutritious, palatable food very consistent product with good quality control. Some people don’t like that it has corn Science diet sensitive skin or “by-products” but I think corn is a good healthy food if balanced right, and “by-products” really just mean parts of the animal that humans find unappetizing – I know my dogs don’t agree.
Love purchasing this to prevent having to carry a big bag around at the store. I have ordered multiple times and the one problem I have had was the expected delivery date was on a Friday which would have worked out perfectly for when the previous bag ran out but something happened and we did not receive product until Monday causing us to have to go Science diet sensitive skin out and purchase a small bag to cover the weekend. Still rated at high bc that may not be the seller’s fault.
Puppy loves it and it’s better than the crap sold at warehouse stores or the mega-department stores. If you love your dog, do some research and find the brand best for that particular breed.
Great product. We have two large dogs so we go through a lot of food. We’ve tried other brands and this seems to be their favorite, and there are fewer odor issues when they eat it connotations to other brands.
The dogs Science diet sensitive skin are not eating it. Had to mix it with canned dog food and even doing this, they would leave some behind. I don’t know why.
I liked the fact that it did not smell bad and the pieces of kibble are large enough to where I did not have to use a slow feeder. However, my dog is not a big fan of it at all. She has become itchy, has dry skin and is starting to shed way more than normal. She skips meals sometimes because she has no interest in eating it. I’ve had to switch brands once Science diet sensitive skin again. Hopefully, she gets back to good soon.

Add just a little to every meal just to make the dry stuff interesting. He gets excited when he smells a fresh can opening. Still, think it’s a tad pricey, but it gets good ratings from dog food recommendation sites.
Seems to be of good quality and actually smells kinda tasty. Haven’t tasted it myself. My pups like it, they eat it, but they don’t love it. But it’s a good choice to give them a little variety through the week and I mix it with their pro plan puppy dry food.quality, delivery, etc was exceptional; but our dog does Science diet sensitive skin not like it.
You can see the veggies and slices of turkey. My dogs will eat it
My doggie liked this at first when I ordered it but then he decided that he got bored of this Purina pro plan. He’s on another food at the moment & will switch back soon.
Decent price in comparison to other brands – have 10 very picky dogs – 7 like it and 3 don’t.
Good price. Great product. Our dog loves this stuff. I mix this with dry food and they love it. Dogs love it, what more can I say.
Price Science diet sensitive skin is good and my dogs like it. Fed this to our pup not long after receiving and he never rejects it. So, I’ll let her actions speak for herself.
The dog is picky and as long as this is a once or twice a week feeding, he finds it quite palatable. Ingredients seem to buy on the plus side, so I don’t worry about the sensitive skin.
My dog has been a picky eater for his entire life. He is an 18 months old husky/lab mix. The savor products have worked well for him. Will buy again.
My puppy like Science diet sensitive skin it, but will not be buying anymore since my pet passed.
My dog would not eat it. It is also nonreturnable so be sure your dog will eat it if you order it. It says beef but it contains chicken also with lots of filler including grain and salt.
My dogs hated this food and I wasted a lot of money. Too heavy and bulky to figure out how to send back. I have 5 dogs and not one of them will eat it.
My dogs don’t like it. Any flavor. The product is good but often cans Science diet sensitive skin are broken open when received. My latest order I had to discard two cans.
Pricing: $ 44.32
Dog loves it, but it gives him a tummy ache so we have to mix it with other food.
I will definitely order again. But next time I will expect to get the small bites. That’s what I thought I was ordering. I have a little dog and he refuses to eat the big bites. I have to crush them every night. But it was delivered quickly and for the price, you can’t beat it being delivered to your door. Overall I am very glad with my shipment. Thank you.
The food has worked great for our doggie. It Science diet sensitive skin helps his coat not shed as much and he has great levels of energy.
One did well on the food our other needed a grain free rather than buying two different I changed both.
Our dog loves this stuff. Before this food, I thought my dog just pooped a lot. Turns out his stomach didn’t like the old food (hint rhymes with the taste of the wild). When eating this food he is as regular as a clock and he scarfs the stuff down.
I hope the price will come down some in the future. The bag was busted when Science diet sensitive skin I received it but it is putting weight on my boxer so excellent for the product not so much on the way the shippers handled it.
The price is good and my dogs don’t have the deadly gas they did when they were on other product.
My dog says it tastes great. My dog seems like he has more energy since starting science diet, a friend of mine gives it to his rotten and he’s doing great.
It disappears quickly when your dog loves it. Our standard day in and day out food that our labs always eat. Recommended by Science diet sensitive skin their vet several years ago.
Honestly, I’ve had two doggies prior to my Alaskan husky that would eat this by the bag every month. Now with my new husky. The food itself seemed okay, but my dog simply would turn his nose up to it every time I’d put it out for him daily. He would go without eating for days at a time just to avoid eating this. I guess it may have been stale or just simply he needed something better for him I haven’t the foggiest idea. I switched to other food and have been Science diet sensitive skin mixing it with this and he gobbles it up like his life depends on it.
Like I said it was good basic food for a non-picky eater. I’ve had a good experience before with it, but this is just not for every dog I guess.

I got this because my other boxer has now developed a food allergy. He had very yeasty feet. My other boxer is allergic to chicken resulting in chronic ear infections. Started with the lamb and rice but now switched to this for my other dog’s feet. It took about three months but his feet are no longer red and he doesn’t lick them anymore. But…They smell! Their breath and their general smell are just bad now, I bathed them, but it comes right back. Trying to switch to something else that is grain and chicken free and not fish based. best senior dog food for sensitive stomach
I also wish it came in a bigger bag too.
My dog used to have skin allergies. After switching to this food, they went away. An additional benefit noticed was that she no longer had gas, ever. It is thought that she had some sort of corn allergy and this helped with that. If you’re in a similar situation, this is a cheaper alternative to some of the other foods out there.
I’m happy at all that they got a pretty new bag that is good, and the price is good. My dog loves this food, and it’s good for best senior dog food for sensitive stomach her belly, so I gotta do what I gotta do.
We’ve been using this food for our border collie mix for a while now. He gets really itchy on other food but not on this one. It sometimes gives him fish breath but it is better than roughing.
My dogs like this food. After feeding it to them for a month, I just didn’t see the results that I hoped for. My dogs are litter mates. One had some improvement in her skin and will her allergies, while her sister had minimal improvement.
My dog likes it, good price. best senior dog food for sensitive stomach

Amazing dog food! The reason, because the food its self is 5 stars, but the shipping is why it only gets for. However, the dog food is great! My two pit lab mixes love this food. They both have an allergy to my yard and after switching them to this food they do not have as bad of a reaction to it. Now it is minimal, with a bath at least once a week they are fine. They would give this 5 paws if they could.
My pit bull has extremely sensitive skin which causes him to scratch constantly. best senior dog food for sensitive stomach I tried every soap, spray, and medicine on the market with no results. Then I changed his dog food to one with no fillers like the purine pro and wow! Not only did his skin clear up within a week, but I also noticed that he no longer had issues with gas. If you have skin issues with your pet I highly recommend switching food before those costly vet bills.
My two dogs like this food a lot, but buyer be warned that the primary ingredient is salmon. I tried this because the vet said my dogs made be best senior dog food for sensitive stomach allergic to something in their other food which makes them itchy. So, she said to give a salmon based food a try. They like it, and they did seem less itchy, but the smell was tough. Their breath would smell of seafood all the time, as did room we keep their food. So, if you are sensitive to the smell of fish, this may not be for you.
We have been using this dog food for some time. The price keeps rising and in July, the price stayed the same and the bag got smaller by 3 lbs. We won’t best senior dog food for sensitive stomach be able to afford it soon. It’s one of the few dog foods our dog is able to handle well.
My vet recommended for our nine-month-old sheep doodle who has had stomach issues and soft bowels since we got him. Unfortunately, he absolutely refused to eat it. He wouldn’t eat for three days so we went back to the regular pro plan savor puppy and now have a huge bag. First, buy a small bag to see whether your dog will eat it. frustrated. I am going to try to contact Purina.
The price is now twice what best senior dog food for sensitive stomach it has been for two years. Why the sudden price increase. It is absolutely ridiculous. This dog food was the whole reason I signed up for prime. Will never buy again at this price.
